Severe thunderstorm warnings are current in multiple States this afternoon, and likely to continue across eastern and southeastern Australia with widespread showers and rain on Friday and into the weekend. This afternoon we have already observed a 122km/h wind gust at Roma in Qld and 98km/h at Coober Pedy in SA with thunderstorms.
