Bill Nye the Science Guy officially has his own star — on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The entertainment personality and scientific educator, known for his show “Bill Nye the Science Guy,” which won 19 Emmy awards during its run from September 1993 to February 1999, received the 2,821st star along Hollywood Boulevard in the category of television.
